The Stack Sampling Unit BTS 327 is designed as a probe assembly for sampling airborne particles from ventilation ducts or stacks.
The unit conforms to the criteria listed by the British Standards Institute 1,2 for the collection of representative samples.
The stainless-steel equipment comprises of the following:
Flange and mounting assembly for attachment to the duct.
A 2cm diameter sampling tube, cut to the appropriate length for the application.
Sampling nozzle for isokinetic sampling (made to order up to a maximum diameter of 19mm).
A smooth bored ON/OFF ball-valve to allow safe and simple replacement of sample filters.
The design of the probe assembly allows easy fitting to most ducts.
The standard unit fits flat-sided ducts, but flanges for curved ducts can be made to order.
The probe assembly is easily removed to facilitate inspection of the sampling nozzle.
The unit is intended for use on ducts having widths of less than one meter.
Additional filtration methods from our product range can be incorporated into the design as is necessary, such as the BTS158, BTS309 & BTS491 Filter Holders.
Every installation differs and as such, every kit can be made to suit your requirements if required.
