The P.A.S. (Personal Air Sampler) Filter Holder has been improved visually. With a fresh grey anodised body, the unit looks modern and also has the benefit of improving the user’s ability to determine the floats position within the sight window.

A stainless-steel grille is now mounted on the entry; seating the installed card mounted filter (BTS160).

The P.A.S. Filter Holder is designed for monitoring personal environmental conditions. It is conveniently attached to the wearer’s clothing by a spring clip. Sampled air drawn through a card mounted filter.

The sampler incorporates the following features:

- An integral rotameter to monitor sample airflow.

- Card mounted filters suitable for encoding with computer compatible information.

- Hinged cover plate for rapid and positive location of the sample filter.

The unit carries an 8mm inlet tube for connection to a suitable pump (normally mounted on the belt of the wearer). Any pump capable of giving a smooth flow rate through the sampler of 2 litres per minute at -8cm (water gauge) is suitable for use with this unit.
